A fantastic show by Roy Sault which tells the
story of family life in England during the war years, culminating
in a VE day party. The audience is invited to sing along with
the songs in the show as they join the family on their journey
through the good times and the bad times and laugh at the humour
that saw the nation through those dark days. School concerts,
rationing, the Saturday Night dance, ARP wardens, air raids,
queues and Spam all get a mention. Then, of course, there is
the Camp Concert complete with the Sergeant Major and his motley
crew. A great night out for all!
